Deadline to shovel sidewalk after snowfall in Omaha is Tuesday

The City of Omaha’s Public Works Department announced Monday evening that snow operations for major roads stopped.

Property owners in Omaha now have until 4 p.m. Tuesday to clear sidewalks, per city ordinance of a 24-hour window. Residents are asked to clear snow onto private property and not onto the street.
