Runner of the Year: Ella Andersen, Metuchen, Jr.

Asked to help guide five completely new cross-country runners through their first season—and still perform as an elite low stick —Andersen outperformed all expectations this year and was as good of a No. 1 runner as you could hope for. The Metuchen junior won both the GMC Red Division title & overall GMC title this season.
