According to police, it happened on Monday shortly before 11 a.m. at a home on Orser Road, near Sydenham Road. Article content

It was reported that two masked men, armed with firearms, entered the home and assaulted a person inside. The person was injured, but it was not believed to be serious.

Following the assault, the two men fled and were last seen driving westbound on Orser Road in a black car. The males are described as while, with medium builds. Both were wearing dark clothing.

Police believe this to have been a targeted incident and investigators said there is no threat to the general public.
