Scarlett Johansson, 41, has spoken out in support of Woody Allen, 90.
In a recent interview in The Daily Telegraph , she said it’s “hard to know” whether she had experienced any backlash for her support of Allen.
“You never know what the domino effect is, exactly. But my mom always encouraged me to be myself, [to see] that it’s important to have integrity, and stand up for what you believe in,” she said.
The “Avengers” actress has starred in three of Allen’s films, including “Match Point,” “Scoop” and “Vicky Christina Barcelona.”
The “Annie Hall” filmmaker lost support from many in Hollywood, after his adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, alleged that he sexually abused her when she was a child.
