LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a man slumped over a truck in a parking lot.

David Wynn, 45, of Evarts, was found in a business parking lot off South Stewart Road, approximately 12 miles south of London.

During the investigation, deputies determined that Wynn was under the influence, as he exhibited slurred speech and unsteadiness on his feet.

Additionally, he was found in possession of a used glass pipe containing a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Wynn was charged with public intoxication (controlled substances) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was taken to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
