The 2025 high school girls soccer season has come to a close, and the Eugene-Springfield area once again featured some of the state's top performers.
For the second straight season — and the third time in four years — Marist Catholic captured the Class 4A state title. The Spartans finished the year 17-1-1, scored 103 goals and allowed just seven.
North Eugene produced arguably its best season in school history. The Highlanders won their first 17 games of the year before dropping a close-fought 1-0 loss to Summit in the Class 5A state title match.
Sheldon and South Eugene both delivered strong campaigns in the Southwest Conference and went on to reach the second round of the Class 6A playoffs. Creswell stormed to the 3A/2A/1A semifinals and lost a hard-fought 1-0 battle to eventual champ
