(Fargo, ND) — Matbus drivers are becoming Fargo employees in 2026. This comes as the city’s contract with the public transportation company, Transdev, is ending on December 31st. Fargo’s City Commission unanimously approved the decision during a meeting on May 12th. The city plans to hire around 77 full-time drivers. Fargo controls Matbus and the bus routes in Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead and Dilworth.
