Baltimore’s Housing Options and Opportunities Act aims to expand affordable housing and rental spaces, drawing mixed reactions from residents and councilmembers.
The act, supported by Mayor Brandon Scott and councilmembers Zac Blanchard and Ryan Dorsey, focuses on affordable housing, home ownership, and creating additional rental space in Baltimore.
“I envision a city where whatever size housing you need exists and is allowed to exist in any neighborhood where you want to live in,” Dorsey said.
