Evan Simon ended his college career on a personal peak.

The former Rutgers quarterback had the best campaign in his fifth year this fall, finishing with 2,097 yards, 25 touchdowns and two interceptions on 60.4% passing (189-of-313) in his second year as a starter at Temple.

After retaining the starting job under first-year head coach KC Keeler, the Pennsylvania native put the Owls in position to their first bowl game in six years. But after getting out to a 5-3 start, they lost their final four games to miss out on the postseason.

While his career did not end with the team success he sought, Simon had arguably the most impressive individual season among former Rutgers players this fall.
