The Trump administration is facing scrutiny from Congress over multiple strikes on an alleged drug smuggling boat , with lawmakers demanding an investigation into the actions that resulted in 11 deaths.

The White House defended Navy Admiral Frank "Mitch" Bradley , who ordered a follow-up strike on the alleged drug boat, stating that he did not violate the law of war. However, members of Congress are demanding an investigation.

The attack in question happened on Sept. 2. The Washington Post reports that 11 people were killed in a strike on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean Sea, including two who died after a second strike while they were clinging to the wreckage after the first attack.
