The acclaimed rock band Radiohead announced that it is postponing two dates on its European tour due to lead singer Thom Yorke coming down with an “extreme throat infection.”

In a post on Instagram , the band said on Monday that its two shows scheduled for Dec. 1 and 2 in Copenhagen have been rescheduled for Dec. 15 and 16, respectively.

“We are devastated to have to postpone these two shows at such short notice but Thom has been diagnosed with an extreme throat infection which has made it impossible for him to sing,” the social media post said.

“Treatment is underway and we’re hopeful Thom will recover in time to play the final two Copenhagen shows on Dec 4th and 5th, and all four Berlin shows, starting on Dec 8th.”

Tickets for the postponed shows will be honored on the rescheduled
