LOOKOUT, WV (LOOTPRESS)— A Fayette County man was arrested early Saturday morning after deputies say he threatened family members with a knife, refused officers’ commands, and engaged in a tense standoff before being subdued with multiple Taser deployments.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched around 5:42 a.m. on Nov. 29, 2025, to a home on Foster Hill Road after 911 reported a disturbance that was later reclassified as a domestic incident. Dispatchers also warned responding units that the man involved was off his prescribed psychological medications, had allegedly flushed them, and appeared heavily intoxicated.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department, along with officers from the Fayetteville and Ansted police departments, arrived around 5:58 a.m
