University 'shocked and saddened' after student's death View 2 Images

A university in Bristol said it is "shocked and saddened" after a student was killed in an incident which police are investigating as murder .

Vijay Kumar, 30, was found with stab wounds at around 4.15am on Barbourne Road, Worcester, on Tuesday, November 25.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died later that day in an incident which West Mercia Police is investigating as murder.

Five men have been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of murder. View 2 Images

The University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol said that it is in touch with Vijay's family and have offered their full support.

The university added that it is working with the police on the ongoing investigation
