Disney+ has revealed a first look at season two of its 'thrilling' period drama The Artful Dodger . Starring David Thewlis, who returns to the role of Fagin, the "adrenaline-pumping" second season is set to premiere on 10 February on Disney+.

The Australian original series stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Jack Dawkins aka The Artful Dodger and Maia Mitchell as Lady Belle Fox.

Co-created by James McNamara and set 15 years after the events of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist , the show follows a grown up Dodger, who now works as a surgeon and sometime criminal in 1850s Australia.

In season two, Jack's criminal past appears to be catching up with him as he is hunted by Inspector Henry Boxer, who is played by newcomer to the show Luke Bracey.
