Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Ismaila Sarr suffered ankle ligament damage during Crystal Palace ’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.
Sarr was replaced in the 38th minute following a heavy challenge from Diogo Dalot, and was seen leaving Selhurst Park on crutches .
Glasner said at full-time that he did not know whether Sarr would play again for Palace in 2025, and he confirmed the supporters’ worst fears ahead of the side’s trip to Burnley on Wednesday evening.
"Ismaïla Sarr is out for this game," Glasner said at the pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon. "Honestly, it doesn't look too bad, but he will definitely miss both games this week.
