The trailer for the film adaptation of Emily Henry ’s best-selling novel People We Meet on Vacation has landed. Netflix dropped a first look at Poppy (Tom Blyth) and Alex (Emily Bader)’s friendship turned situationship, which spans across continents and TSA lines. “On vacation, you can be anyone you want,” Alex says to Poppy right before skinny-dipping in a lake. “That’s why I want to travel. So you can actually be who you want to be instead of what they say you are.” Poppy makes a promise to her that they will travel together every summer, and with each trip, their romantic tension will get tested alongside their sunscreen and navigation skills.
