Coronation Street fans think they have rumbled a 'looming' twist for Debbie Webster after spotting a sign that hints there's more to the character's life than what we've been told so far.

Those who follow the ITV soap were left emotional during scenes aired in Monday's (December 1) episode as the beloved character nervously prepared to give a speech at a women in business event.

The function was taking place at her hotel, the Chariot Square, and Debbie was among the speakers as her friends, including Sally Metcalfe, Glenda Shuttleworth and Leanne Battersby watched on.

Having had a wobble up on stage, Debbie did away with her planned speech and decided to speak about her dementia diagnosis, which she has been living with since April.
