MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A swift response, aided by modern technology, led to the arrest of three burglary suspects and the recovery of stolen property Sunday night.
Memphis police say a lieutenant monitoring the city’s camera network observed a break-in at Summer Mattress & Furniture on Summer Ave near Baltic Street. Patrol units were immediately dispatched to the scene. Officers arrived quickly, apprehending one suspect on site.
As a second suspect attempted get away, a police drone was deployed, effectively guiding officers directly to the hiding individual. Further investigation, utilizing video footage, helped identify the getaway vehice. As a result, a third person was arrested and the stolen items were recovered.
