PORT ANGELES — Clallam County commissioners have approved the 2026 levy budgets for more than 20 taxing districts, a required step before the county assessor finalizes next year’s property tax rates. The certified list includes cities, school districts, fire districts, hospitals, and the Port of Port Angeles.

Several major districts posted sizable levy requests: Port Angeles Schools listed $8.69 million for enrichment and another $8.69 million for its bond; Sequim Schools submitted $8.74 million; and Crescent Schools requested just over $629,000 for enrichment. Hospital District 2 in Port Angeles reported one of the largest totals at $11.94 million.
