Centro Wood Fired Kitchen has been recognized as one of the top 100 restaurants in Canada.

The Chatham restaurant, located at 71 St. Clair St., made the list recently published by OpenTable determined from analyzing more than one million diner reviews, diner ratings, reservation demands and percentage of five-star rating.

Centro is among the 38 new restaurants across Canada to make the list this year and one of the few to receive a perfect five-star rating.

“We are incredibly surprised and deeply honoured to receive this recognition,” said co-owner Dominique Bonnot.

“This recognition isn’t just for us; it’s a celebration of the vital role that family-operated restaurants play in towns and cities across Canada, especially in smaller communities like ours,” she said.
