BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football heads into Wednesday’s early signing day with a top 30 recruiting class.

The No. 2 Hoosiers (12-0) currently have 22 verbal commitments , with the coaching staff clearly emphasizing key areas. They are singing three linebackers, four offensive linemen and seven defensive linemen.

Here are three names from IU’s signing class to know:

Kevontay Hugan, DL; Booker (Sarasota, Fla.)

Indiana flipped the former Louisville pledge back in the summer.

Kevontay Hugan put up gaudy numbers this fall while helping Booker reach the state semifinals for a third straight season. According to his MaxPreps page, he had 13 sacks with at least one sack in all but one of his team’s games and 32 tackles for loss.
