EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Big changes could be coming to Michigan State University’s athletics, including potential upgrades to Spartan Stadium, the Breslin Center and other athletics facilities.
MSU officials on Tuesday announced “FOR SPARTA,” a $1 billion capital initiative for MSU Athletics.”
Officials say the fundraising initiative — part of the schools ongoing “Uncommon Will. Far Better World” campaign — is designed to “elevate facilities, enhance the student-athlete experience and secure Michigan State’s position as a leader in college athletics.”
Athletic Director J Batt calls it “the most ambitious initiative” in the history of MSU sports.
