A royal expert has claimed that King Charles is not likely to visit Prince Harry during his trip to the US next year. Speaking about the estranged father and son, royal author Robert Jobson said the King would not make a detour to California as any such meeting would "dominate headlines".

The visit, which will only take place if his health allows him to travel, could spark speculation over whether the King will make time to visit his youngest son. Harry currently lives in California with his wife, Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie , six, and Princess Lilibet , four.

During his visit to the UK back in September, Harry made time in his busy schedule to meet his father at Clarence House in London.
