The Santa Clara County District Attorney is expected to file charges against the teenager arrested in connection with the triple-shooting Friday at Valley Fair mall.

The 17-year-old suspect could be charged as an adult, a move District Attorney Jeff Rosen says his office is considering. The teen is accused of shooting three people at Valley Fair on Black Friday.

The DA's Office is expected to file charges Wednesday.

"The options in terms of time are anywhere from the rest of his life in adult prison to a couple of months at the juvenile ranch or juvenile hall, so the options are quite broad in terms of what a judge can do," Rosen said.

San Jose police arrested the suspect late Sunday, as well as a woman they believe helped the teen get away from the mall.
