A permit is being sought for a sign plan for a Circle K Burrito Express at Ellsworth and University Drive in Mesa.

The Mesa Board of Adjustment is to discuss the special use permit for a comprehensive sign plan in the limited commercial district at a 5 p.m. study session and 5:30 p.m. meeting Wednesday, Dec. 3, on the second floor at City Hall, 20 E. First St.

The Circle K Burrito Express is on 2 acres at 9230 E. University Drive.

The applicant is Brett Berres of Graham’s Neon. The owner is Toms Investments LLC.

The signs are needed to display the branding on multiple sides of the building, Berres said in a written project narrative.
