YouTube is rolling out a “recap” feature to help users look back at the year gone by and looking back at the year’s most popular topics and creators.
Manthra Panchapakesan, product manager at the Google-owned video giant, detailed the new Recap offering in a blog post Tuesday.
“ YouTube Recap uniquely highlights interests, deep dives, and moments you explored this year, based on your watch history,” she wrote. “You’ll get a set of up to 12 different cards that spotlight your top channels, interests, and even the evolution of your viewing habits, or which personality type you fall into based on the videos you loved to watch.”
Recap will be available starting today for YouTube users in North America, and roll out to the rest of the world this week. Users can find Recap on the homepage,
