Some travelers were tied up on Tuesday morning when a crash led to several lanes being shut down on I-695 in Baltimore County.

An alert was issued shortly before 10 a.m. on Dec. 2, after a crash was reported on the Inner Loop of the Beltway near Belair Road in Overlea.

The crash left two right lanes blocked as crews investigated and cleared the scene.

As of 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, crews were still clearing the scene as traffic got by in the left lane. No details about the crash or possible injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
