Bralan Womack, the top high school safety and the No. 2 overall prospect in Mississippi, flipped from Auburn to Mississippi State on Monday.
The five-star from Hartfield Academy made the announcement to stay in state on Monday. He went to social media and wrote, “I’m home,” paired with a dog and a house emoji.
Womack joined Mississippi State’s 2026 class two days before the early signing period begins on Dec. 3. His commitment immediately launched the Bulldogs’ recruiting class up 16 spots to No. 30 nationally, according to 247Sports.
If Womack signs a national letter of intent with Mississippi State, he will be the seventh-highest ranked signee in program history. Those in front of him include Bulldog legends in Chris Jones, Jerious Norwood, Charles Cross, and Jeffery Simmons.
