A heavy lake-effect snowstorm sweeping through Summit County has prompted widespread travel restrictions and hazardous road conditions, officials said Tuesday.
City snow crews and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) continue to battle accumulating snow that has forced partial lane closures and discouraged nonessential travel.
A winter weather advisory remains in effect through Tuesday evening, with some areas in Summit County expecting total snowfall of 3 to 6 inches.
