Plans to build a new hydrogen facility in Neath Port Talbot have been given the go-ahead by the local council.
The approval will allow for the development of a new hydrogen refuelling station close to the Amazon distribution centre in Crymlyn Burrows within the ’employment area’ that forms part of the Fabian Way Innovation Corridor.
Once completed the station will be expected to fuel a maximum of 38 vehicles per day on the site that includes hydrogen buffer storage, tube trailer loading, HGV, bus and car refuelling dispensers, and a DNO substation.
Once up and running it will be known as the Swansea Hydrogen Refuelling Station even-though the site lies in the the administrative area of Neath P
