Two Rhode Island residents have been charged in connection with an armed robbery spree that targeted multiple Massachusetts towns and ended near a local Christmas village.
Fernando Torres, 37, of Providence, Rhode Island and Victoria Lambert, 29, of Warwick, Rhode Island were arrested in Pembroke on Sunday, according to the Duxbury Police Department.
Torres faces charges of armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, armed assault to rob a person over 60 and threat to commit a crime. Lambert is charged with accessory after the fact.
Both are expected to face additional charges from the Kingston, Pembroke and Plymouth Police Departments.
