LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Charges have been dropped in a 2022 shooting that took place in Little Rock's River Market and left 3 people injured.
On April 7, 2022, the Little Rock Police Department obtained a warrant to arrest 36-year-old Bryant Davis of Little Rock. He was charged with three counts of first-degree battery.
Now, in December 2025, Deputy Prosecutor Luke Daniel reported that the state is withdrawing the charges.
The court stated that one of the victims, 38-year-old Ronald Lee Payton Jr. of Pine Bluff, has since died, while the other two men, 37-year-old Kaylan Patrick Pace of Jacksonville, and 24-year-old Nicholas Kaden Wallace of White Hall, have not been able to be found.
