Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost have been happily married since 2020 , but their relationship was almost a nonstarter.

While co-hosting "TODAY with Jenna & Friends" on Dec. 1, Johansson told Jenna Bush Hager she ended up bailing on the "Saturday Night Live" star on their first date.

While discussing awkward dating stories, Jenna asked what Johansson's first date with Jost was like. The actor admitted that she wasn't used to dating around since she was a "serial monogamist."
