SEATTLE — In a move that could forever change how quickly Seattleites fill their fridge or restock diapers, Amazon has quietly rolled out a new rapid-delivery service.

As of Monday, some Seattle neighborhoods are now eligible to receive everyday essentials and fresh groceries delivered in roughly 30 minutes or less. The service, which will be part of Amazon’s existing app and website, shows up under a “30-Minute Delivery” option for eligible customers.

For eligible shoppers, the listing promises thousands of items: milk, eggs, produce, toothpaste, cosmetics, pet supplies, diapers, paper goods, electronics, over-the-counter meds, snacks, seasonal items and more.

Pricing is different depending on your subscription status: for members of Amazon Prime, delivery starts at $3.99 per order. No
