One person was found dead following an Oakland County fire, and officials are working to confirm that the person was the homeowner’s uncle.

Officials were called at 11:50 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, to a building on fire in the 9100 block of Keir Road in Groveland Township, according to a news release from the Michigan State Police posted on the social media platform X .
