FRANKENMUTH, MI — Officials have issued a warrant for an Oakland County man accused of exposing himself to a child at a Frankenmuth resort over the summer.
Prosecutors on Nov. 6 charged the 40-year-old Ferndale man with aggravated indecent exposure and indecent exposure.
Aggravated indecent exposure involves fondling one’s genitals, whereas standard indecent exposure is merely displaying your privates, Michigan law states. The former is a high-court misdemeanor punishable by up to two years’ incarceration and a $2,000 fine, while the latter is a one-year misdemeanor.
MLive is not naming the defendant as he’s not yet been arraigned in Saginaw County District Court. The suspect has no known connection to Saginaw County, prosecutors allege.
