WEXFORD COUNTY, MI - Rebecca Park’s biological mother and the woman’s husband are slated to be arraigned this afternoon on undisclosed charges connected to her case, authorities have said.
The court appearances come a couple days after Cortney and Bradly Bartholomew were taken into custody, and a week to the day that Park’s body was found by volunteer searchers in the Manistee National Forest.
Park, 22, was at least 38 weeks pregnant when she reportedly disappeared on Nov. 3. When her body was found Nov. 25, the baby was not with her.
While authorities have not spelled out the pending charges against the Bartholomews, Prosecutor Johanna Carey made a grim comment about the case Monday while she requested the court delay the couple’s arraignments by one day.
