LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - A video shared across social media is raising questions about a forceful arrest involving a man in a wheelchair in Lake Charles.
Video shows Lake Charles police officers forcefully detaining a man in a wheelchair on Ryan Street near West Claude around 1 a.m. Sunday.

In the clip, officers are seen pulling the man from his chair during the arrest, drawing concern from people online.
“We received a phone call from a member of the public complaining that people were in the parking lot and they were being loud, disruptive, and disturbing them. We gave them multiple warnings to tone it down and to leave,” Lake Charles Police Chief Caldwell said.
