A retired genealogist is set to host a talk about the value of wills.
On Monday, January 19, Ian Waller, vice chairman of the Family History Federation, will deliver the talk titled "When There's a Will", advising family historians on the significance of searching for wills as part of their research.
This is particularly relevant for those who assume their ancestors didn't leave one.
The talk will commence at 2.30pm at the Fromus Centre, Street Farm Road, Saxmundham.
Mr Waller, known for his extensive experience in English genealogy, will be speaking via Zoom but will be visible on a large screen in the room.
The session promises to cover a broad spectrum of records related to wills, including those associated with disputes, taxes, and personal belongings.
