A Midland school has apologised after a classroom display was said to have compared a Reform UK MP to Adolf Hitler.

Quarrydale Academy's display featured a political spectrum which went from 'extreme left wing' to 'extreme right wing', showing prominent political figures in each category.

The 'extreme right wing' section, which also mentioned fascism and the Nazi Party, featured pictures of Ashfield MP Lee Anderson and his party leader Nigel Farage.

Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini also featured.

On the other end of the spectrum, Tony Blair was presented as being more left-wing than former Green Party leader Caroline Lucas.

The SNP's logo was placed close to an image of Genghis Kha
