MERCER CO., Ill. (KWQC) - A Mercer County sheriff’s deputy accused of driving the wrong way down I-74 while intoxicated has pleaded guilty, according to court records.
On Tuesday, Lewis Andrews, 25, pleaded guilty to DUI and driving the wrong way down a highway.
The court dropped a charge of improper lane usage.
He was sentenced to 12 months supervision, according to online court records.
Andrews was charged in April with DUI, driving the wrong way down a highway and improper lane usage.
In June, TV6 Investigates obtained dash cam footage of the incident.
