When We Were Kids....

Well, the Capital Region is in the midst of our first significant snowstorm of the year. When it's all said and done, we may get a whopping 7 inches of snow, and if you looked around this morning, you’d think we were in the middle of a 3-day blizzard and the National Guard was rolling in on tanks.

I get it: safety first, but still...

Back in our day, a snow day meant grabbing a shovel, knocking on the nearest old lady’s door, and earning five bucks and a hot cocoa. Kids today? Their parents order DoorDash for them while they sit at home playing video games.

Every. Single. School. Closed.
