How does AMC's 'Popcorn Pass' work? What to know

AMC Theatres is rolling out a new annual perk that gives members half off a large popcorn every day for a year.

The company on Dec. 1, announced the AMC Popcorn Pass, a $29.99-per-year add-on for AMC Stubs members that provides 50% off one large AMC Perfectly Popcorn per day, along with the chain’s existing free-refill benefit for large sizes. The program becomes available Dec. 1, 2025 and runs through Dec. 31, 2026.

AMC said the new pass aims to add value to one of the most popular parts of the moviegoing experience. The earlier a member purchases the pass, the more days they can use the discount.

The Popcorn Pass is valid only for in-theater purchases and cannot be used for mobile orders. It also applies exclusively to the passholder and is accepted at all AMC locations nationwide. Th
