The Michigan State basketball team, which moved up to No. 7 in the national rankings this week, will try to continue its unbeaten start when it hosts Iowa on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Breslin Center.
The game, which is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., could have an added bonus for MSU fans with an appearance likely from new MSU football coach Pat Fitzgerald, who was officially hired on Monday and will be introduced on campus at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
The Spartans (7-0) are coming off a pair of wins at the Fort Myers Tip-Off, including a 74-58 win over North Carolina on Nov. 27 . The Hawkeyes (7-0), who received the most votes of any team outside of the Associated Press Top 25 in this week's rankings, are coming off a 59-46 win over Grand Canyon on Nov. 26.
