I was among the first to visit Newcastle's new STACK and it's a huge surprise

When the original city centre STACK closed over three years ago, it proved a huge miss. There have been new STACKS since of course, including the match-day favourite near St James' Park, but now the container village hub is back in the heart of Newcastle - just down the road from the original site - and I was looking forward to a preview of it ahead of its opening this Tuesday.

It occupies the old Worswick Chambers building on the corner of Pilgrim Street and Worswick Street - and has entrances on both - and what first struck me is how big it is.
