The first episodes of "Stranger Things" season 5 are out, but fan are counting down the days until the finale premieres on the big screen.

The season 5 finale will stream on Netflix at 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, and lucky fans who secure a ticket ahead of time will have the opportunity to watch the finale in theaters: Tickets went on sale Tuesday, Dec. 2.
