COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Authorities have identified a man charged after a deadly Thanksgiving shooting in the Midlands.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said 62-year-old Eulese Patterson was arrested Monday and charged with murder, armed robbery and other weapon-related charges.
Patterson is accused of killing 65-year-old Perry Richardson in a Nov. 27 shooting on the 5300 block of Fairfield Road. RCSD said that responding deputies found Richardson inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.
RCSD said Richardson was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The sheriff’s department said Patterson was arrested after being found at his home on Monday afternoon. Investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting.
