Holiday shopping can be overwhelming, especially if you have a few people on your list who are notoriously hard to shop for.
UC’s Dr. Sachin Modi, a professor of operations and supply chain management, says artificial intelligence can be a useful tool for shoppers.
“Something really exciting thing that has changed in this last year is AI is now available both to consumers and online retailers,” Dr. Modi said. “You can brainstorm with ChatGPT on what might be the best gifts you could give to someone. You could also use technology to try and figure out how you can stay within your budget.”
