SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. — A vigilant neighbor helped save a person being chased by a man with a gun Friday night.
The person got into an argument with 18-year-old Marvin Osorio, who they know, about a pet just after 7 p.m. Friday. When Osorio pulled out a gun and began threatening them, they ran away in the area of Horse Creek Lane and Oak Crest Drive.
Osorio began chasing them, police said, but in that moment, a neighbor was nearby pulling out of a driveway and saw the person frantically calling for help. The neighbor let the person into the car with them and the two drove off. Osorio then allegedly began shooting at the car.
Neither person was injured in the incident. Virginia State Police responded to a house on Horse Creek Lane after the person called 911, and they were able to take Osori
