PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Perry County students presented their final designs for a new sensory park after completing a 10-week accessibility program called Coordinating and Assisting the Reuse of Assistive Technology: Together One Priority, or CARAT-TOP.

On Monday, the students along with parents and city, county and school leaders gathered at the UK Center of Excellence in Rural Health building for a certificate ceremony.

The students, who had never worked on a community design project when the program began in September, led presentations to city, county and school leaders showing what a sensory park could look like.
